Reflection:
For this lighting assignment, we had to photograph somebody that we have access to on a daily basis in different lighting situations. I (semi) forced my brother into letting me shoot him. We shot by my back door where existing light was readily available. We also shot outside in the shade and direct sunlight. This blog post was difficult because we have to choose five photos out of the 24 that we took to showcase our subject's personality. I chose these pictures because my brother is funny but serious and he obviously enjoys climbing trees! (:
Through the visual cues you can tell the model is young, by his seemingly comical nature, yet he’s also serious from the shading of the first shot.
ReplyDeleteAlicia really used a variety of lighting and shading, which really added another level to all the photos. You really get a feel for who her brother is by the portraiture.
If Alicia where to do this project again, I’d suggest she try a lot of different poses to really capture her brother’s personality.
